Beach Cupcakes
The Beehives were in charge of a Synchronized Swimming activity in Janaury and we found these fun dessert ideas on the internet.
Blue cake batter. . .
Fish baked into the cupcakes
Half frosted blue - the ocean
Sprinkles to add some texture
The other half frosted white with crushed graham crackers for sand
Gum balls posing as beach balls and sticks of gum as beach chairs
Top it off with umbrellas
And you have a beach dessert!

Beautiful Skies, Nasty Roads
The drive home from Utah wasn't the best expereince ever - not the worst roads we've ever had but definitely topping the 'worst charts'. We weren't able to go over 35-40 mph from Monticello, UT (where they got pummeled with snow) to Cuba, NM. That's a long ways! We celebrated 2011 making its debut in the car - with just a quick kiss on Scott's cheek since he couldn't take his eyes off the road because of the sheets of ice. We got home at 1:30 a.m. on 1/1/11. Happy New Year!
